It aims at creating space for cultural and social integration, through an event that combines knowledge, entertainment and reflection about sexual diversity issues relevant to any society.

The festival will include three categories: Feature films, documentaries, and short films. All entries  must have a 2006 copyright date or earlier. The official language of the Festival is Spanish. Therefore, entries must be in Spanish or be properly subtitled.

Entires must be received on or before August 15, 2010 (postmark date). There will be no cost for registration or participating in the festival.

For each category (long feature, documentary and short film), there will be an award for best work. Entries that have been previously shown at commercial venues or have participated in other festivals in Ecuador are not eligible.

An application form and more information including terms of participation can be found at www.elugarsinlimites.net
