Make A Difference For LGBT Youth

Are you interested in making a difference in the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youth by speaking at a Live Out Loud school program?

Live Out Loud is a non-profit organization that inspires and empowers LGBT youth by connecting them with successful LGBT role models in their community (www.LiveOutLoud.info). Every year, we conduct dozens of hour-long programs for LGBT youth in classrooms throughout NYC. This academic year, Live Out Loud needs up to 50 LGBT role models to come with us and tell their story to groups of 20 - 25 students.

On Thursday, October 20, Live Out Loud is hosting a Role Model Social - a night of cocktails and hors d'oeuvres - to tell you about how you can become a speaker for one of our school programs this fall.

Please join us at 6:00 p.m. at Deutsch, A Lowe & Partners Company to mingle with other LGBT professionals and learn more about how you can use your story to make a difference in the lives of LGBT youth!

"We're teenagers. We need people to be encouraging us. There are so many kids in this world who feel lost and they want somebody to be able to tell them 'It's ok. I'm here for you.'" - LGBT youth at a Live Out Loud program

Everybody has a story to share. Yours might be more life-changing for an LGBT youth than you realize! RSVP for the Role Model Social by replying to this email.

Date: October 20, 2011
Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Location: 111 Eighth Ave, NYC
RSVP: info@liveoutloud.info
