LP&G Wins Top Award for LGBT Marketing
TUCSON, Ariz. – (May 7, 2010) LP&G, Inc., a Tucson-based integrated marketing agency took Best of Show – Electronic in the 2010 Addy Awards. The agency won for a LGBT Tourism website for Tucson’s Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort. The website and accompanying online advertising, entitled Nature AND Nurture, promoted Hacienda del Sol as a relaxing, welcoming alternative in the gay tourism scene.
“We are so proud to have received this award,” said Leslie Perls, creative director and owner of LP&G. “As far as we know, this is the first time an ad specifically directed to the gay market has won an honor this high in Southern Arizona.” The Addy Awards are presented each year by the Tucson Advertising Federation for excellence in creative advertising. “It shows that people in our industry are beginning to realize something we’ve known for a long time – The LGBT market can be a powerful force in our business and shouldn’t be ignored.”
