The issue entitled, "Veronica #202, Isn't it Bromantic" has the lovely brunette chasing after Kevin, the new boy in school. While everyone else knows that Kevin is Gay, Veronica is aloof! But boy is she persistent after Kevin beats Jughead in a burger-eating contest at Pop's Chocklit Shoppe. Despite the new hunk's efforts to let Veronica down easy, she still persists mercilessly.
"The introduction of Kevin is just about keeping the world of Archie Comics current and inclusive. Archie's hometown of Riverdale has always been a safe world for everyone. It just makes sense to have an openly gay character in Archie comic books," stated Archie Comics Co- CEO, Jon Goldwater.
